Abir Lal Mondal is a dedicated and experienced optometrist with a strong commitment to advancing eye care, particularly in pediatric optometry. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Optometry from Kolkata in 2008 and went on to earn a prestigious Fellowship from the renowned L V Prasad Eye Institute , Hyderabad, in 2010.
Driven by a calling to make a difference in rural communities, Abir established Airis Eye Care in Falta in 2016 and serves as the Director of the centre. His vision was to bring high-quality, accessible eye care to underserved areas, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity for healthy vision.
Currently, Abir is the Head of Pediatric Optometry at Netralayam Superspeciality Eye Care Centre ( Kolkata ), where he leads a specialized team dedicated to comprehensive eye care for children. His focus on early detection and management of pediatric eye conditions ensures that young patients receive the best care tailored to their unique needs.
